Article 2 — Scope

These Terms & Conditions (T&C) apply to all sales concluded on enixpan.com between Bapst Technologies SARL (Enixpan) and any consumer ("the Buyer"), without restriction.

By placing an order the Buyer acknowledges having read and accepted these T&C. Order confirmation constitutes unconditional acceptance of these terms.

Enixpan reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. The T&C applicable are those in force at the date of the order.

Article 3 — Products

The handpans offered on enixpan.com are handcrafted steel instruments tuned to 440 Hz or 432 Hz on request. Each instrument is made to order by skilled artisans.

Photos and illustrations are provided for guidance. Slight colour or finish variations inherent to the handcraft process do not constitute a defect.

Detailed specifications for each model (dimensions, tuning, materials, included accessories) are available on the product pages.

Article 4 — Prices

Prices are displayed in euros (€) on the product pages. For EU customers, prices include VAT (20% French VAT). For non-EU customers, prices are shown exclusive of local taxes.

Delivery is free on all orders worldwide.

Enixpan reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. Only the price shown at order confirmation is binding.

Article 5 — Order process

The order process consists of the following steps:

  1. Product selection and adding to cart
  2. Cart review
  3. Delivery information
  4. Payment method selection and confirmation
  5. Order confirmation by email

The order is definitively confirmed upon receipt and validation of payment. A confirmation email is sent to the address provided. This email constitutes the sales contract.

For card payments, confirmation is immediate. For bank transfers, the order remains "Pending" until Enixpan receives the transfer (see Article 6.1).

As Enixpan handpans are made to order, cancellation after payment confirmation is subject to the conditions of Article 8 (right of withdrawal). For bank transfer orders, free cancellation is possible until the transfer is received.

Article 6 — Payment

Payment is processed securely via the following methods:

  • Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) — instant, secure processing via Stripe
  • Bank transfer (SEPA) — deferred payment, production begins upon receipt

Card transactions are secured by SSL and processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified). No card data is stored on Enixpan servers.

If a card payment is declined, the order is automatically cancelled. The Buyer is invited to retry with another payment method.

6.1 — Bank transfer orders

When paying by bank transfer, the order is registered with status "Awaiting transfer". No production begins until the transfer is received and verified by Enixpan.

  • Exact amount in euros as shown on your order
The transfer reference must include your order number. Transfers without an identifiable reference may cause processing delays.

Processing time: SEPA transfers typically arrive within 1–3 business days. Upon receipt, Enixpan confirms payment, starts production and sends the Buyer a payment confirmation email, a downloadable invoice, and access to the Enixpan learning platform.

If the transfer is not received within 7 calendar days of the order, Enixpan reserves the right to cancel the order and notify the Buyer by email.

Article 7 — Delivery

Each handpan is made to order. After payment confirmation, production takes approximately 15 days, followed by international shipping of approximately 15 days. A tracking number is sent by email at dispatch.

Each instrument is packed in a reinforced case with internal protection.

Article 8 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with applicable consumer law, the Buyer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, without stating a reason.

To exercise this right, the Buyer must notify Enixpan by email at contact@enixpan.com with the order number.

The instrument must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition, with all accessories. Return costs (shipping and any customs duties) are borne entirely by the Buyer. Please contact Enixpan at contact@enixpan.com to arrange the return procedure.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned instrument, via the original payment method.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised instruments or those manufactured to the Buyer's specific requirements.

Article 9 — Warranties

All Enixpan handpans benefit from:

  • Legal warranty of conformity: 2 years from delivery
  • Legal warranty against hidden defects
  • Enixpan commercial warranty: 2 years covering manufacturing and material defects

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, impact, exposure to corrosive agents, or unauthorised repair.

Warranty claim procedure: Before contacting Enixpan, the Buyer must have the instrument assessed by a qualified luthier or professional, at their own expense. If the expert report confirms a manufacturing or material defect covered by the warranty, the Buyer may then contact contact@enixpan.com attaching the expert report, photos and defect description. No claim will be processed without prior expert assessment.

Article 10 — Liability

Enixpan shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of products sold. Enixpan's liability is limited to the amount of the order in question.

Enixpan disclaims all liability for delays or non-performance due to force majeure (natural disaster, strike, postal blockage, customs delays, etc.).

Article 11 — Personal data

Personal data collected during the order process is used solely for order management and customer relations. It is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

In accordance with applicable data protection law (GDPR), the Buyer has the right to access, rectify, delete and object to the processing of their personal data by contacting contact@enixpan.com.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be subject to French law and the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bourg-en-Bresse, France, unless mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the Buyer's country provide otherwise.
